Ethan is officially a 1st grader now. He is so excited to be back in school. He loves his new teacher and from what I can tell, she loves him too. We have decided to try something new this year. Ethan will take a lunch 3 day a week and then he can buy lunch at the cafeteria 2 days of his choice, so he will get healthy food most of the day of the week. ;) He was okay with that decision and is really excited to try to pick the most healthy lunch at school, which is quite a challenge on most days, especially when ketchup is considered a vegetable. Ethan is very excited to be able to meet new friends and is excited about the kids that sit next to him in class. We are going to really work on reading this year so he can get to a point where he is reading and enjoying his own books. Kaiya will start preschool in a few weeks so I will post her 1st day of school photo later, but here is Ethan on the first day of school. He actually had on a very nice polo type shirt and then wiped his hands on his shirt for breakfast and got strawberries all over it, so this was his second outfit of choice. Handsome isn't he?

He can't be this big already! 1st grade is so much fun. Sarah is home today with the first of many rounds of school related illness. She has the stomach flu. Alan had to take the day off we were up more than down last night with her. We miss you guys. Can't wait to see Kaiya in her preschool outfit. I have a huge box of clothes for her from Sarah if I can ever get it shipped. You won't have to buy clothes for a very long time. XOXO
