We decided that since EK and I could no longer hike to Havasupi on the 12th of Sept. (since it washed away) we would take the family and go camping for Labor Day instead. We thought that going with extended family would be more fun, so we went to Rock Crossing Blue Ridge Reservoir near Pine and Strawberry, AZ with Jamey and Tara and their two kids. Tara and I left on Thursday with her two kids and Kaiya and Porter while EK stayed here with Ethan (so he could go to school on Friday). It was good that we left on Thursday because we got the best camp site in the whole campground. We pitched our tent, set up the kids beds (which included 2 pack-n-plays) and cooked our very own, delicious, tin foil dinners. Starting the fire for the evening was the highlight of the trip. All I will say is that Tara is a pro at starting fires and she didn't even need help putting herself out. :) The guys came on Friday, late night with our trailer and we stayed there until Sunday night. Brad and Hil and their girls as well as Bill and Sandy came on Saturday and that made it even more fun. We really had a great time and plan on going there again soon.

You have got to be kidding! We were in the same place that weekend! We camped off of the side of the road on the way to the campground (so we could ride quads). If we had only known....
