Living in the Phoenix area of Arizona means that we do not see much rain, but when we do get rain, it usually comes in buckets for a very short period of time. This last storm was a good one. The wind and lightening was intense and after it was all over (about an hour later) we drove around looking at the damage the storm caused. In the park by our house the kids were excited because one of the big trees blew over and the retention basin had a lot of water in it, so we stopped and had a bit of fun. Who knew that a tree on its side was so much fun.
